Is Gnositicology a "false gold" in the eyes of Ecclesia Gnostica? Probably, but theirs is a tremendous tradition to study and so Gnosticologists are behooved to do so.

we are compelled to recognize that many avail themselves of the name "Gnostic" without adequate justification. Just as not all is gold that glitters, so not all who call themselves "Gnostic" have a just claim to this name.
